A Day At The Beach!

Went to the beach today, although it was drizzling when we were on the way, we went anyway.

Hoping it would not rain, we went to the beach with an umbrella.

Thankfully, the drizzle did not transform into a fierce downpour.

The sea was quite dirty though.

The sand was wet enough to draw on =D

Dad purposely brought us went to Kulim, 甘文丁湖上美食馆 for brunch during his off day on last Thursday and this was our first time going there. He knows how much we love delicious food, especially Kulim's. So sweet of him. XD

My 4th days of my working days as a clerk at Delta. =) This was my first experience which i appreaciated a lot. Actually, I was thinking to work part-time as a clerk previously. But i was so lucky, because of Vanessa's mum, i got the opportunity and gained the experience in purchasing department as well. Hahaa* It's quite boring sometimes....but i don't mind cause i wanna learn something new. ^^

Holidays!! Woohoo!!

Finally our exams are over, we can go explore gurney again.

We had to go, as we were going to start work the next day..

I mean she was. Hardworking right? I know!

Went to gurney before 11a.m. just to get tickets for piranha.

She wanted to watch the show so badly so i had to make sure i get my ands on the tickets.

After that, went to MPH to read a while waiting for her.

All and all, piranha was a ewww show. Disgusting bodies after getting attacked by piranhas.

Go watch it yourselves.

Then, we were walking when i saw the vacancy for toys r us. So i decided to take the job =]

Start work tomorrow.

Then, we went to gurney drive for a nice stroll, enjoy the breeze.

Finished our final exam for semester one today. =) What a day! haha. But my hubby is still blaming himself because of the word "EACH" in accounting and although it has passed for three days already. Sunday was our (Charles and I) micro exam. This was the first time Tarc having exam on Sunday, history errr... =D. But we were so lucky, my mum woke up early to prepare breakfast for both of us. *heee. I ate at home before headed to Tarc for meeting up my hubby and brought along his 'food' too... After meeting up, he thought of an idea on how to enjoy fully when eating in car. LOL. Let's us see what he did.

Today is my Birthday,

But she did not accept it, she said something was missing,

16/7 was my hubby's birthday but it was on Friday so we decided to celebrate it on the next day. We went to Gurney's Chilis for his celebration as well. But we dont know what to order because this was our first time having lunch there. Anyway, we ordered a plate of Fish & Chips, mashed potato with black pepper gravy and chocolate banana drink.

After eating, we went window shopping at Toys R Us. As usual, my humorous hubby acted again. haha* We had our 'fight' there too, but it was bad cause i forgot to take those pictures =(

Summary of a whole week!

Well, a great week just passed, and here are some more meaningful events!

Went to gurney for a gathering with my primary school friends.

Found a lot of things to take pictures of, which does not happen often to me.

First of all, here is an example of an inconsiderate Malaysian.

First of all, there's the possibility of the person not being a oku (orang kurang upaya)

But i'm not going to accuse anyone of being something without being sure,

but look at how his or her car is blocking the entrance..

I mean come on! I had a hard time getting past!

Secondly, we played air hockey at the arcade and guess what, I feel like Portugal demolishing North Korea. 9 - 0!! Who has ever gotten this score line before? haha. sorry darrel, but you tried your best =D

Thirdly, I found out where the McDonalds ice cream comes from. A big plastic bag! Yeap! It's quite disgusting if you can see it with your own eyes, they just pour it out and that's your ice cream!

Okay, i also went to an interview at the mainland for my introduction to accounting project.

Since i wasn't allowed to drive there (what a pity..) i went there via ferry together with my friends.

It's been more than 7 years since i had been on the ferry i think and it really brought back memories.

The ferry service hadn't changed at all, still lots of people use this service and the bottom level for cars is always filled.

What a view! But the sea was quite dirty when we were on the way over to the mainland.

Hospitalised

This was the first time I was admitted at the hospital. It was really unexpected as i was always a strong and healthy person (i think so, lol). Since last friday, my stomach started to ache. After a day, i vomited and had diarrhea. Although i saw the doctor twice, it seemed like nothing changed. LOL. At last, i was admitted to lam hua ee hospital on Tuesday after my microeconomics's lecturer class. Well, just let the pictures do the talking.

Everyone should go to Monkey Beach!

We ponteng school on tuesday to go jungle tracking!!

But of course knowing me and Amanda, we already replaced those classes.

We wanted to go to monkey beach,instead of going there by boat, which is both unchallenging and expensive, we went there by tracking through the jungle. Unlike going up Penang Hill through the jungle route, this route was much more tricky and also dangerous, one miss-step or slip would mean "Bye Bye!" or at least "Ouch!"

Though sometimes assisted by man-made steps,

more than 90% of the track is soil and rocks,

sometimes, there were even a few trees blocking our path, which was slippery and hard to climb over.

We eventually reached monkey beach, which took us roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes i think.

At first, i thought it was going to be boring cause there was no one and nothing there.

But after a while, i got into the beach mood, and it was fun!

I felt a bit dizzy and light headed at first but once i took off my shirt and headed into the water, i totally forgot that i was ever not feeling well, the water was warm and nice!

The reason my friends liked to go there was quite obvious at that time, the sea level near the beach was deep enough for us to dip our whole body in and yet just right for us to stand on. perfect!

It rained halfway through and it was very cold on the beach, with the cold rain hitting our bair skin, but the easy solution was just to stay inside the warm water.

We brought along two volleyballs which were perfect for water polo, and it was extra super fun.

more and more tourist came later that day but mostly by boat.

We went back by boat as the tracks were dangerous cause of the rain. it took just 5 minutes to get back, but also rm50.

I totally did not regret that i went on the trip, even though i had a stomach ache in the morning, i went cause i didn't want to "ppk" my friends and most importantly, my one and only Amanda, and it was a great decision. I had a wonderful day even though i got a little sun burnt.

Stranded in the yellow box

Went to prangin mall that day.

On the way there, something funny happened.

I didn't see the yellow box

and guess what, i blocked someone who wanted to turn at the junction.

I had to back up to make way for the car, so i reversed.

As there was only space to stop in the yellow box, i had to stop in the middle of the yellow box as seen in the pictures, which was very awkward. Luckily the traffic turned green, and i got to leave there quite quickly. =)

Long Time No Blog

First of all, congratulations too Lee Dewyze!!

The 9th American Idol!!

Haven't updated the blog for a long time dee.. Kena scold by my amanda, haha.

But I have my reasons,

1) Very busy leh, college started d, so many homework and assignments.

2) Very tired these days, because of the busyness.

3) Blogger on my laptop doesn't work, have to use this old desktop out in the hall.

BUT! There should be no reasons to not update our blog, it's high up on the priority list, so I apologise to amanda here, sorry sorry arr, haha.

College life is not as easy as I thought. Hectic schedules and even when there are breaks in between, there's not enough time to do anything yet it's enough time to make us feel bored.

Oh yeah, a warning to all high school students, even if you take on business subjects, you still have to take on add maths. It's repackaged and renamed into quantitative studies but it's still pretty much the same.

Oh yeah! Congratulations to Amanda for passing her undang test. Now you can go for practical, haha. Finally.. =>

I had been studying in Tarc for 2 weeks. It was pretty tough for me and i'm still cant get used with it. I was having problems with my quantitative studies because it was just same like add maths and maths, those 2 subjects were my weakest sub when i was in secondary school. Arggghhh...what Pn.Choo said was true, no matter what course i took i would also face maths in my study life. LOL.

I really missed my secondary school life lots. I wished i could go back but it was impossible. I missed my classmates and teachers too. Now, i hope i can have a gathering with all of them. I miss you al badly. TT

Went to prangin yesterday since long time din go d.
Used to go by bus after school together, miss those days.

Went to prangin first to watch 做人 by Jack Neo.

Went to popular, mee suah ko stall to eat and mcdonalds, three places i missed most.
I should start to take more pictures so my posts won't be so boring.

Went to gurney afterwards to buy present for amanda's friend.
bought oreo mcflurry, curly fries and nuggets, mmm-mmm good, no wonder i'm getting fat.

We had a big quarrel last Thursday.
I thought we gonna finish this time.

Yesterday was chap gohhh mehhh,

I'm quite sure everyone is aware of that.

I spent this day with Amanda since it was a special day for us.

First, I went to her house to have dinner with her family,

was so nervous and suprised that even her grandparents were there.. OMG!

Then, we went out, we first couldn't decide on where to go,

we were supposed to go where jams aren't expected,

but we eventually went to esplanade, where the jam were the heaviest.. LOL!

Well, we eventually found a car park after about an hour and a half.

At least we were entertained by the beautiful parade vehicles.

At esplanade, the crowd wasn't as big as expected, much less compared to the Bon Odori.

There were food stalls, advertising stalls, and a concert but din see any celebrities though.. Non that I know of.

We head back home at about 9.30 because we were wary of the jams,

and luckily we made that decision.

Although it was a long and frustrating journey through the jam,

I was lucky I had Amanda (Muackx!) accompanying me.

Shared a lot of laughs on the way,

including lots of shouting, haha. Shouting in the car, we're truly crazy..

after another hour and a half.. wow.. we reached amanda's home.

Her mother came down to make sure she reaches home safely.

She even offered to accompany me back home, wow! Feeling blessed.

(Thanks aunty for caring about me and helping me keep Amanda safe =>)

The journey back home was 'jam-less', luck me.

Reached home in about 15 minutes.

That's how I spent my chap gohh mehhh.

Dragon Boat tragedy

A few days ago, I found out about a tragedy on facebook,

that our school's dragon boat was capsized, with 2 deaths and 4 students missing.

I felt surprised and chosen not to believe it.

But the news was confirmed by the Star website.

Now, bodies of all 4 missing students have been found..

This tragedy brought grief to many people,

Family members, friends, the school headmaster, and the society.

Once again, I feel that life's unfair,

lives of 5 students and a teacher with such a bright future waiting for them,

taken in a blink of an eye,

one of them, a truly outstanding student, whether it comes to studies, or even curriculum activities.

One question circulates in minds of thousands,

why were they allowed to train in such dangerous waters.

Fishermen with years of experience have warned that the waters there have strong

undercurrents, especially during low tides,

yet the government did not heed their advice, and chosen to disregard them.

Now, trainings are to be carried out at the dam,

but is it too late?

Why must this action be taken after such tragedy happens?

The government chose that location because of convenience,

but should convenience be chosen before safety?

Let's all mourn this loss,

hope that their families will stay strong,

and hope the victims will rest in peace.

I couldn't sleep.. A recent tragic event fills my mind with sorrow. I'm sure a lot of you have heard what happened to Tan Hui Linn, something that showed me how life can be so cruel and unfair, how someone who's not just innocent, but also brave and heroic can be punished without any reason.

Living in a family that quarrels all the time, she was brave enough to put on a smile everyday in school, not wanting others to worry about her or share her pain, fooling her classmates, and Amanda. One night during her sleep, Tan Hui Linn's father had sneaked up on her mother and poured acid on her. Tan Hui Linn heard her mother's scream and her brave instincts lead her to throw herself in front of her mother, using her own body to shield her mother from the acid.

Tan Hui Linn is now suffering from acid burns on her face and body. Her mother didn't survive with 80% of her body badly burnt. Tan Hui Linn has lost her eyesight and has burn marks all over her body. How can a young girls bravery be given such cruelty in return? Why can't I find any silver lining in all that has happened? Tan Hui Linn should deserve better..

I have learnt that life is unfair and that we should accept it. We should follow Tan Hui Linn's footsteps be thankful for what we have and not compare ourselves with those more fortunate than us. Make the most out of life, live to that fullest. And most importantly, we should give our fullest support to the young heroin, Tan Hui Linn as she showed bravery of the highest class, loyalty to parents that most of us do not possess.

Tan Hui Linn, we are all praying for you. You have showed us the true meaning of being a perfect daughter, and we all thank you for that.

When...i was going to switch on my pc; my sister was charging her phone and sms-ing; my mum was doing her work; my dad was watching tv, suddenly all became dark and there was no electricity...

A movie day

Cousins Day Out

My 2nd cousins day out, and partly for photoshooting.
Went to kek lok si, and tried to go to bukit genting.. but failed..

First off, went to my cousins house to pick them out..

Saw this motorcycle under a no motorcycle sign..
This picture was taken at the kek lok si, the first candle didn't light up, so... the picture is not nice d..
Then, since there was not much to do at the Kek Lok Si.., we went to search for bukit genting where we were told the sunset view was breathtaking.

Half way there, we got a glimpse of a pre-sunset view, so we stopped at a rest stop and started taking pictures..

I didn't take a pic of the sun which is just out of the picture, too glaring..

Look at this beautiful view, the reflections on the roof. The residents get to see the sunset everyday.
Okay.. After that, we went to search for bukit genting. We all didn't know the way, so I used my gps to find it. We ended up at the wrong place.. My cousin said bukit genting, but nothing else, i lead them to bukit genting. I can't believe she blames me for not getting somewhere which isn't even labelled on any maps..

Anyway.. we headed back, disappointed and tired.. Stopped by the same rest stop again, and took some pictures of the post-sunset.

Our Anniversary

Today is our 6th month anniversary!
This is a very happy day for both me and my love.
Although we are not able to really celebrate together,

My football match

Today was the quarter, semi and final of my football competition

My love came to give me support, thanks!
Won 2nd place, hehe.

It rained for a while during the first match which ended with a penalty shootout,
mine was saved by the keeper =/
The second match.. was rough.. the opposing team played a rough match,
and i think the referee is on their side..
but we won anyway..
last match.. we lost to the unbeaten team of the competition,
the school team team, haha
i didn't think we'd reach this far at all.

Anyway, i thank my love for giving me support,
wouldn't have made it so far if it wasn't for her, hehe

Went to the library with my love today to study.
at the beginning my love was angry at me err,
this is because i said something something very wrong.
but then my love was good enough to forgive my stupidity.

found out that nearly all physics revision books have mistakes..
anyway.. love studied science and add maths,
she finished three chapters while i only managed one and a half T.T

I was able to prove newton's finding wrong, which is that gravity exists, and that what goes up, must come down.

Firstly, i did a test with my container, i threw it up in the sky, and..

As you all can see, it most definitely did not come down, what's goes up, doesn't necessarily come down.

For the second test, i did a trickier test.

This test required more strength and creativity

I was able to study biology, siting on the wall, facing the floor,
